CASE STUDY: STUDIO 105
THE HISTORY
The cafe space is what used to be the teacher’s lounge in the historic Clara building in Sacramento; the Clara building served as the Fremont Primary School in 1921 and then the Fremont Adult School in 1980 before becoming the performing arts complex it is today
THE PROJECT:
We ran the empty cafe space as “Studio 105”, modeled after Andy Warhol’s “Factory”. We filled Studio 105 with props and it became natural light studio where varying artists, models, illustrators, graphic designers, videographers, stylists, and photographers came through to use the studio to shoot their own projects and Seasons Coffee.
THE TEAM
BOLD CREW cold brew was designed and packaged to pay homage to California’s active, engaged lifestyle. So we picked a group of people that can’t couldn’t just be called one thing. We had our artists modeling, our models shooting, and our photographers modeling. We had local business owners mixing with sustainable stylists, farmers being shot by international photographers. We wanted to represent creators highly involved in their communities.
